ADVANTAGE & ADVANTAGE Recertification Training
The State of Nevada provides both classroom and online training for ADVANTAGE Financial and ADVANTAGE Recertification.
DAWN Basic Navigation training is provided online only through the State of Nevada Online Professional Development Center (NVeLearn).
Discoverer & iHub Training
Effective August 2019, Discoverer training is being replaced with iHub Basic Navigation training. Currently this training is available in classroom only (Carson City training center). An online version of this course is expected to be available by January 2020.

Employees outside the Reno/Carson City Area
If you are in the Elko or Las Vegas areas you qualify to take the ADVANTAGE Financial Training online through the State of Nevada Online Professional Development Center. To obtain a course key to access the online course, send an e-mail request to email@example.com. Include the name of the class along with your e-mail signature which should include your name, your agency name and physical location, your agency e-mail address and phone number.
The Training Officer will verify that you are outside of the Reno/Carson City area and then forward an enrollment key to you via e-mail to access the online class.
For DAWN training or ADVANTAGE Recertification, access online training at the State of Nevada Online Professional Development Center (NVeLearn).
Employees in the Reno/Carson City Area
Employees in the Reno/Carson City area, are required to complete the ADVANTAGE training class in the classroom located at the State Library and Archives in Carson City. For DAWN training or Recertification, access the State of Nevada Online Professional Development Center (NVeLearn).
